This solid birch kitchette derived its influence from its owners Taoist beliefs.

Minimilist,  in black granite and a lot of lighting, this lay-out contains all the bare neccesities of life.

We created a collage of stainless steel trianglular splash-backs to emulate the Hymalaya and give an almost elemental  sense of depth and perspective to an otherwise flat feature. .........It truly works.

Of course a 4'6" wide kitchen is a bit cozy so here we removed the wall.

By widening the aperture we were able to install  this purpose designed structural glass feature (with LED lights) safely in the floor.
